he was born and raised in the countryside near Hamburg and moved in 2015 to the netherlands to study medicine at the university of groningen. since graduating from university in 2022 he is based in the swiss canton valais and working as a resident doctor at the emergency department of the hospital spitalzentrum oberwallis in visp.
photography is his creative outlet to escape the sterile environment of the emergency department and head into the wilderness. Torges photos feature raw and remote places and their lasting impact on human visitors.
His mission is to authentically document captivating stories through his lens and writing. He collaborates with other creatives in the industry to realise ambitious project for selective corporate clients. Torge is available for assignments worldwide.
